It’s feels like its been forever – people at the mall, in their cars, doing just about anything, and NOT looking at their phone.

But it was, just 8 short years ago.

Apple was not yet cool again – Steve Jobs was very much alive, and our digital lives were far different (and in millions of cases nonexistent).

It has become the majority of Apple’s revenue – and with literally hundreds of millions of return customers brought Apple to the top of the business world.

There have been companies that have sold more smart phones, made smart phones with better specs – but never has a product changed the everyday humans experience like the iPhone.

Before the iPhone phones, and even smart phones looked like the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine from Star Wars..

Now every, and I mean every, phone looks like the iPhone… regardless of manufacturer or operating system.

So,… raise a toast! Happy 8th Birthday iPhone – for better or worse, you have changed us forever…
