Witcher 3 (The Wild Hunt)
Witcher 3 is (obviously,.. ) 3rd in the Witcher Series – but has scored an impressive 94 (critics) and 9.2 (user) at time of this post.
Released on May 19th, 2015 this massive open world game follows your adventures as Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher (monster hunter) as you explore a gigantic open world, slay beasts and control the destiny of the world with this impressive release.
Highpoints: I was very impressed by the depth and detail of the game world. The graphics are impressive and the mechanics are well done. The game physics are good (not the best I have seen), but the depth of story line and out-cuts for such a huge playable world is an impressive feat.
I have been playing for about a week – and it continues to impress me with its depth and beauty. So much so, you almost don’t want to use the Fast Travel abilities.
Lowpoints: It seems like it is taking the short side of forever to level up in the game (and I am no noob to fantasy gaming). I am avoiding any cheats or (dev console or exploits), but the game keeps me coming back for more.
Overall: Its a must buy – one of the recent best in the genre.
