The Nomad ‘Stand of Apple Watch’ is a great (albeit not cheap) accessory for you newly acquired Apple Watch.
The stand is a sturdy build with a good coated finish, which both feels good and looks great.
Your existing Apple Watch charging cord fits nicely within the back slotted groove, and hides invisible to the front and side view of the stand.
As of this publication, the Stand for Apple Watch is 69.95 (making it one of the more expensive standard stands out there) but considering you just dropped 400+ on a Apple Watch, why not complete the look with this fine charing stand.
Tech Break Blog 
With the new WatchOS you can use the watch as a night clock while it is charging. For that to work I believe the watch needs to be on the side. Something to think about when buying stands.
